LEARNING THROUGH PLAY
Our toddler teachers are experienced professionals that know what a toddler needs!
Does this sound like your little one?
"Toddler Creed"
If I want it, it's mine.
If I give it to you and change my mind later, it's mine.
If I can take it away from you, it's mine.
If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
If it's mine it will never belong to anyone else no matter what.
If we are building something together, all the pieces are mine.
If it looks like mine, it's mine.

The goal of our toddler room is to start teaching the children to discover new things while interacting with others. Up to this point, children parallel play, meaning they play alongside other children, but often do not interact with them.

As they embark into the toddler room, they learn the give and take of playing with other children. They are learning about boundaries, starting to understand rules and beginning to have a more structured routine.
This class helps the children to start to identify their feelings, learn manners, wash their hands, learn how to hold utensils, and how to sit at the table for meals and snacks. These are just some of the key components that are concentrated on in our toddler room.
Along with these challenging tasks, the children are also being introduced to letters, colors, shapes, and senses among other topics.
